Art & Soul will present Emerging, a debut solo exhibit of Bella DiBernardo, the gallery’s artist-in-residence, with an opening reception during the 1st Thursday Art Walk, 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 at 1323 State St.
A co-founder of Art & Soul, DiBernardo’s creative voice has been intertwined with the gallery since its earliest days.
“This exhibition offers an intimate look at Bella’s personal narrative, explored through bold, intuitive expression and a deeply reflective collection of work,” the gallery said.
“As both curator and creator, Bella presents a meaningful milestone in her artistic journey, inviting visitors to experience the vision and spirit that have helped shape Art & Soul from the beginning,” the gallery said.
DiBernardo is a self-taught artist whose creative journey began in early childhood. She works primarily with acrylics, exploring the tension between softness and strength, solitude and connection, stillness and transformation.
Art & Soul is open noon-6 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, and noon-4 p.m. Sundays,
with private viewings by appointment.
