Cara Delevingne stripped down for the summer 2026 issue of Playboy, appearing in a variety of risqué ensembles
The model, who is gearing up to release her debut album, told the outlet that she’s “never felt more comfortable in my body and in my sexuality”
Delevingne also shared that she originally planned to release music anonymously
Cara Delevingne is — nearly — baring it all for Playboy.
The English model, 33, graces the cover of the magazine’s summer 2026 issue. Lensed by photographer Zoey Grossman and styled by Lana Jay Lackey, the shoot sees Delevingne as a “star reborn,” per a press release, and celebrates her new chapter as she gears up to release her debut album.
The multi-hyphenate appears on the cover in a plunging latex peplum corset and no bottoms, her hand cheekily covering the area. She also dons a lacy red lingerie set and a classic Playboy bunny ensemble, complete with ears and a tail.
“I’ve never felt more comfortable in my body and in my sexuality,” she said in the Tuesday, July 14, cover story about reclaiming the cover of Playboy. “I feel like I’m in more of my prime as a woman and as a sexual being. It felt—for me, not even for anyone else—really fun. That is like an absolute dream.”

Delevingne also opened up about being the first out lesbian on the cover of Playboy‘s print magazine (following Kehlani’s digital cover in 2021).
“I don’t know if an openly lesbian person has done a cover of Playboy.… I don’t know if that’s true, but in my head, I told myself that,” she shared. “I’m also someone that when people say, “Are you sure that’s a good thing?”—I don’t love the rules. I like doing things differently.”
The model spilled the details on her upcoming debut album, which she said had planned to release anonymously.
“Originally, I wanted to release the music under a different name so no one would know it was me, because I just wanted it to go out there,” Delevingne told the publication. “But I didn’t want the preconceived ideas—how many people are going to say it’s bad without even listening to it?”

She added: “Of course, I accept that—people might think it’s bad whether they know or care if it’s me or not. But that’s not why I’ve done it.”

In April, Delevingne launched her music career by announcing a tour and sharing clips of her songs “I Forgot” and “Out of My Head” on social media.
Days earlier, she had been teasing music and lyrics on her Instagram page.
“Music. It’s forever been my biggest fear and my greatest love,” Delevingne began. She noted that the aforementioned two singles would be “the first peek inside my stream of consciousness over the last few years.”
“I cannot quite believe we are finally here,” she wrote.
