How my job has changed: My role has evolved from day-to-day venue operations to driving large-scale transformation. As executive vice president and chief venues officer at Hornets Sports & Entertainment, I now lead long-term strategic initiatives, working across departments and with external partners to shape the future of our business.

Most poignant lesson from the past year: The biggest lesson for me has been the importance of resilience and clarity during times of transformation. Overseeing a complex renovation while maintaining a full event schedule taught me that success lies in clear communication, collaboration and a shared sense of purpose. New facilities are not simply bullet points for change, but rather they are keystones to high-level organizational transformation. While change is responsive and drives solutions, transformation is future leaning and evolutionary.
