There has been a lot of talk on social media this week over Israel and Palestine after two separate open letters/pledges got a lot of celebrity support.
Over 5,000 celebrities and artists have now signed a pledge was released by the Film Workers for Palestine, stating that the signers will not work with festivals, broadcasters, cinemas or production companies they believe are “implicated in genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people.”
Then, in response, 1,200 artists/celebrities wrote an open letter urging the 5,000 names to reconsider their boycott.
We’re gathering a list of just some celebrities who have made statements in support of the Free Palestine movement, as well as celebrities who are supporting Israel. This is not a list of every celebrity who has made a statement, rather, a gathering of recent names who have spoken out.
