The E4 show returns to screens in just a few hours with a star-studded cast

Celebs Go Dating is back for a fresh series in just a few hours – and this time the celebrity participants are venturing into more contemporary relationship dynamics than previously, including throuples and polyamory.
The current line-up includes Coleen Nolan, James Haskell and Professor Green, David Potts, Gabby Allen, PK Humble and Lucinda Light. The singles are searching for romance under the careful supervision of dating specialists Anna Williamson, Paul Brunson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, who are once more available to support them through the ups and downs of dating.
Anna suggests this year’s series is amongst the most compelling yet, owing to a cast who turned up prepared to completely commit to the experience.
“We’ve just finished filming and it’s honestly one of the most entertaining series we’ve done,” she exclusively revealed to the Daily Star. “Everyone came in really open, really up for it. Nobody was trying to be too cool for school, they just got stuck in.”

While audiences can still anticipate numerous uncomfortable first dates, emotional disclosures and dating catastrophes, Anna discloses the programme also examines more closely how relationships are changing today, including the growth of polyamory.
“We definitely explore polyamory this series,” she confirmed. “It’s something that more people are curious about in dating now, but it has to be approached properly.”
She emphasises that the lifestyle isn’t something to hurry into, cautioning that it demands transparent communication and emotional maturity. “There has to be ethical non-monogamy, with honesty, communication and clear boundaries,” she says. “Otherwise it can become very confusing very quickly.”
Anna notes that confusion and mixed signals represent one of the most prominent themes in contemporary dating, with the new series mirroring this reality.
“Honesty is harder than ever,” she acknowledges. “People don’t want to play games anymore, but not everyone says exactly what they mean. That’s where things start to unravel.”

Professor Green emerges as one of the series’ standout participants, with Anna commending his candour within the agency. The rapper, who has a son with model Karima McAdams and was formerly married to Millie Mackintosh, discusses his neurodivergence and its influence on his romantic life.
“We go really deep with Stephen in the agency,” she says. “He talks about his neurodivergence and how it affects his dating life. It’s very real, very honest and really important to see.”
Coleen Nolan, 61, also features prominently in the series, with Anna disclosing she was enthusiastic about participating from the beginning.

“She actually asked to come on the show,” she says. “She told her agent she wanted relationship coaching and wanted to find love. When people genuinely want to be there, it changes everything.”
Meanwhile, former rugby player James Haskell, 41, delivers a combination of humour and vulnerability while navigating the dating scene following his separation from Chloe Madeley. “He’s brilliant,” Anna says. “People might have perceptions of him, but he’s warm, funny and really open. He’s trying to do dating in a respectful way as a dad.”
Anna concedes that no celebrity emerges from the process without their share of uncomfortable moments, but maintains that this is precisely what makes the programme so easy to identify with.
“It’s awkward, it’s unpredictable and it’s very human,” she says. “At the end of the day, everyone is just trying to figure it out.”
