Chris Appleton and his daughter Kitty-blu Appleton are an ace pair.
The celebrity hairstylist—whose clients include Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and Ariana Grande—and his 20-year-old daughter attended the US Open 2025 Aug. 27, and Kitty-blu was dressed to impress.
As the father-daughter duo took in the tennis matches from the stands at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York, Kitty-blu. looked on with intense focus as she sported a halter-top white dress and her hair in a high ponytail. The 20-year-old topped off her look with some silver embellishments, including a statement watch, a cross necklace and small hoop earrings.
Chris, meanwhile, opted for a navy suit with a lighter blue checkered dress shirt and a patterned tie. The 44-year-old dressed up his look even further with gold cufflinks on his suit and a white pocket square in his breast pocket.
The father-daughter outing comes less than a month after Chris—also dad to son Billy, 22, with ex Kate Katon—emotionally detailed how he came out to his children following his and his former partner’s nine-year relationship.

“They were confused and all of a sudden I just felt like I just messed their life up,” Chris recalled to Jay Shetty on his On Purpose podcast Aug. 6. “I felt like I’d failed as a dad because my job was to protect them. And if anyone ever hurt them, I would protect them. But I was the one hurting them.”
Despite the dark moment, Chris and his family were able to see the other side of it. As the Your Roots Don’t Define You author noted during the podcast, “I think I’m in a good place.”

And his daughter echoed his sentiment in an Instagram video she made about her dad’s vulnerable On Purpose appearance.
“We are one of the closest knit families,” she said in an Aug. 7 reel. “Genuinely have each other’s back through thick and thin.”
