Amanda Seyfried and Michael B. Jordan were among many Hollywood stars who earned Golden Globe nominations this week. These two have been making their mark on Hollywood for years.
However, long before they became Hollywood A-listers, Seyfried and Jordan were both on the ABC soapAll My Children.

Although Seyfried only appeared in a few episodes of the show as Joni Stafford, Jordan spent three years on All My Children as Reggie Porter Montgomery. Reggie and Joni were complete opposites, who had a brief romance before Joni was written off the show.
Following their much-deserved Golden Globe nominations, a clip of Jordan and Seyfried on All My Children began making the rounds on social media. One fan reshared the footage on X of a young Seyfried and Jordan heating up the ABC soap.
“congrats to these two on their critics choice and golden globes nominations 🤍,” read the caption on the classic clip.
Fans shared their thoughts on this throwback in the comments section of the X. “I watched AMC when they both were on there. Look where they are now. Wow,” wrote one fan.
Another fan expressed, “The way they were very important to me as a kid watching AMC 🥲.” A different fan stated, “they did a show together now they need to do a movie together.”
This resurfaced clip comes months after Seyfried reacted to a throwback of her with Jordan on the ABC soap during an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Soap Stars’ Golden Globe Nominations
The two have come a long way since their All My Children days for sure. Jordan received his first Golden Globe nomination this year for Best Performance By A Male Actor In A Motion Picture – Drama for his role in the film Sinners.

Seyfried earned two Golden Globe nods, marking her fourth nomination. The first was for Best Performance By A Female Actor In A Motion Picture – Musical Or Comedy for her role in the film The Testament Of Ann Lee.
Her second nomination was for Best Performance By A Female Actor In A Limited Series, Anthology Series, Or A Motion Picture Made For Television for her role in the limited series Long Bright River.
Jordan and Seyfried aren’t the only soap alums nominated for Golden Globes this year. Former As the World Turns star Parker Posey (Tess) was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in Supporting Role, Television for her role on White Lotus.
Santa Barbara alum Robin Wright (Kelly) was nominated for Best Performance By A Female Actor In A Limited Series, Anthology Series, Or A Motion Picture Made For Television for her role in the limited series The Girlfriend. Wright and Seyfried are nominated against each other.
Pluribus is nominated for Best Series, which features The Young and the Restless star Peter Bergman as a guest star in the first episode.
