Season 28 of “The Voice” is underway, and one contestant is from Connecticut.
Judged by an all-star panel of Snoop Dogg, Michael Bublé, Reba and Niall Horan, this season of “The Voice” saw almost 50 contestants audition. Out of all the hopeful contestants, only one represents New England: 25-year-old Trinity Giselle.
After passing the auditions with a coveted four-chair turn, Giselle was among the first contestants to compete in part one of the Battles Round, where either her or her duet partner would be sent home.
Here’s what to know about “The Voice” contestant from Connecticut, as well as how she did in the Battles.
Who is Trinity Giselle?
Trinity Giselle, a 25-year-old from Stamford, Connecticut, describes herself as a singer, songwriter and model on her Instagram. Giselle attended Five Towns College on Long Island, New York, where she was a part of the music program and performed in various shows.
Before going on “The Voice,” Giselle made a name for herself as both a model and singer, releasing a single “Poison” in 2023 and making her New York Fashion Week debut in 2024.
For her blind audition, Giselle sang “Don’t Let Go (Love)” by En Vogue, a performance that made all four judges turn their chairs around. Giselle ultimately chose Michael Bublé as her coach for the season, who said she could turn a phone book into a number one hit.

How did CT’s Trinity Giselle do in ‘The Voice’ battles?
During the Battles Round, aired on Monday, Oct. 13, Giselle chose to team up with 31-year-old Jazz McKenzie for a duet to “Virtual Insanity” by Jamiroquai. While all four judges were impressed with both women’s performances, ultimately, coach Michael Bublé chose McKenzie as the winner of the battle, saying she has perfect pitch.
However, the loss of the battle was not the end of the road for Giselle. As soon as Bublé made his decision, he pushed his button to use his only save on Giselle – and all three other judges pressed their buttons to use their only steal.
After each judge lobbied for Giselle to join their team, she ultimately decided to stay with her original coach, saying “Although my feelings are a little hurt by you, Michael, I take you back.”
Bublé shared his excitement with the cameras, calling Giselle an “all around star” with “undeniable potential.”
