Among the first events on the schedule is MDWK Music & Market at University Plaza from 5:30 to 8 p.m. July 29, featuring Stoney Creek Bluegrass, vendors organized by The Outsider Social and the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck.
A community block party is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. July 30 at Mulberry Lofts. The City of Hagerstown said in the announcement that neighbors can meet elected officials, city staff and local organizations during the free gathering.
An outdoor showing of “Lilo & Stitch” is scheduled for 7 p.m. July 31 at the City Park Bandshell. Activities will begin before the movie, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

- Krumpe’s Donut Alley Rally 5K, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14 at Krumpe’s Do-Nut Shop, benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project and Mason-Dixon Warrior Adventures.
- Community Block Party, 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 20 at Hagerstown Church.
