Eric Dane’s daughters are serving as his inspiration to not give up amid his ALS battle.
“I have two daughters at home. I wanna see them graduate college, get married, maybe have grandkids. I wanna be there for all that,” the Grey’s Anatomy alum — who shares Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13 with estranged wife Rebecca Gayheart — said in a video posted to California Congressman Eric Swalwell’s TikTok account on Monday, September 29.
“So I’m gonna fight until the last breath on this one,” the actor, 52, added.

Gayheart recently told People that their daughters are “taking it day by day” and working with therapists.
“I mean, it’s heartbreaking. My girls are really suffering, and we’re just trying to get through it,” the actress, 54, revealed in the interview, which was published on Saturday, September 27. “It’s a tough time.”
“We’re just trying to have some hope and do it with dignity, grace and love,” she said.

Dane was visiting the politician as part of his partnership with the I Am ALS organization to support the reauthorization of the ACT for ALS bill.
“I wanna ring every bell,” he explained, adding that it often takes so much time for someone to get an ALS diagnosis that they miss out on clinical trials. “That’s why Act for ALS is so great because it broadens the access for everybody.”
