Giant Pictures Partners With Duplass Brothers Productions to Release ‘Paper Marriage’ Comedy Feature – Film News in Brief

Giant Pictures is joining forces with Duplass Brothers Productions for the digital release of the new feature-length comedy “Paper Marriage.”

Jeff Man leads the film and also serves as writer and director. Now available for preorder on Amazon and Apple TV, “Paper Marriage” will be released on streaming platforms on Sept. 16. The film also stars Effy Han as Fanny, a Chinese immigrant facing deportation who pays an unemployed ne’er-do-well Chinese-American man (Jeff Man) to marry her.

Other cast members include Grace Song, Yosilu Chen, Rob Nagle, Michael Man, Ursula Man and Will Dowsett.

“’Paper Marriage’” tells the tale of a modern marriage of convenience. As Man and Han’s characters navigate this awkward partnership, the two learn to work together as they try to sell the charade and keep up appearances,” according to the official synopsis.
