Designer pieces from custom contemporary looks to vintage collection selections featured on the red carpet for the 2025 GQ Men of the Year event in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Hailey Bieber went sheer in her Gucci attire. The sleeveless, halter neckline dress featured a plunging neckline and a pinstripe design motif with subtle shimmering elements throughout. The semi-sheer dress also included a backless element, with the Gucci logo present. The Rhode Skin founder accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Bieber’s look was curated by stylist Dani Michelle.

Coco Jones

Coco Jones opted for a take on deconstruction in her Mugler dress. The look featured a black skirt and asymmetric element, with a corseted top and exposed boning on the bodice. Jones’ look was curated by stylist Maeve Reilly.

Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo favored a look from Tom Ford’s 2026 resort collection. The shimmering blue dress was designed with allover sequins and featured a plunging neckline. With an A-line skirt, the dress provided some movement while maintaining its streamlined silhouette. Rodrigo accessorized her look with Shay Jewelry. Her attire was curated by styling team Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo.

Sydney Sweeney

Sydney Sweeney turned to the archives for her look, wearing a sleek black dress in a crushed velvet material from Versace’s fall 1995 ready-to-wear collection. Styled by Molly Dickson, Sweeney’s look featured thin straps and a sweetheart neckline. The “Christy” actress evoked even more of the ’90s sensibility with her black choker necklace.

Madison Beer

Madison Beer wore the Georges Hobeika black crepe halter dress from the designer’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The dress featured an asymmetric thigh-high slit. The singer went minimal with accessories and paired the look with black pointed-toe heels.

The 2025 GQ Men of the Year event commemorated its 30th anniversary on Thursday night at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. With a “Party Like It’s 1995” theme, the magazine’s celebration honored standout talent and their contributions to the year’s cultural milestones. Sydney Sweeney, Stephen Colbert, Seth Rogen, SZA, Oscar Isaac, Clipse and Hailey Bieber served as cohosts for the occasion.
