The Sussexes were caught trick-or-treating with their kids in California – but Prince Harry seemingly overlooked one crucial detail…his costume.
Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet all allegedly donned bug-themed costumes for the frightening festivities on Friday, but the Duke apparently opted out of dressing up.
Images reveal the Duke instead sporting brown footwear, blue denim, and a navy polo shirt, along with shades and a pale blue baseball cap.
Meghan appears in a black athletic suit, white sneakers, and dark sunglasses, plus what reports describe as butterfly wings.
The pair previously disclosed in their four-part 2022 Netflix documentary series, Harry & Meghan, that Halloween occupies a meaningful position in their relationship.
The Sussexes relocated to California in 2020 following their departure as working Royals and reside in Montecito.
Nevertheless, the family was observed trick-or-treating on a residential street in neighboring Santa Barbara, according to the Daily Mail.
Archie, 6, was dressed as an ant, and Lilibet, 4, was dressed as a green firefly, the Mail reported. The Sussexes were spotted getting into the Halloween spirit with a visit to a pumpkin patch just days ago.
Meghan shared a video on her Instagram on Sunday, showing Archie and Lilibet exploring, followed by footage of the family carving pumpkins at home.
This Halloween outing comes after a tumultuous week for the Royal Family.
On Thursday, the King made the formal decision to strip his brother Andrew of his Prince and Duke of York titles and HRH style due to his connections with the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Now known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, he has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
Andrew has also agreed to vacate the 30-room Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor Great Park.
