HGTV is entering a new era. Months after rumors that the network would be ending Christina on the Coast and The Flipping El Moussas, the home renovation channel announced it has ordered over 100 episodes for the 2025 to 2026 season.
“HGTV’s passionate fans tune in for our signature home renovation, real estate and design expertise, and they also want content that’s unfiltered, escapist and fun,” said Howard Lee, chief creative officer of Warner Bros. Discovery’s US Networks. “The network’s large order of new and returning series has something for everyone.”
So, what should fans expect to see on their screens? A healthy mix of old and new. Per the announcement, HGTV has ordered new seasons of hit shows like 100 Day Dream Home, Love It or List It, and Scariest House in America. The upcoming year will be particularly good for Erin and Ben Napier. Not only is Home Town renewed, but the couple will be transforming a dilapidated property into a hotel in their spinoff series, Home Town: Inn This Together.
As for Haack and the El Moussas? While it seems that Christina Haack and the El Moussas’s been canceled, the blended family will return for season two of The Flip Off. As HGTV’s highest-rated freshman series since 2022, The Flip Off lured in 14 million viewers—and fans are craving a second round. Who knows? Maybe Haack’s boyfriend, Chris LaRocca, will make a cameo.
HGTV is also introducing a handful of new series. Cheap A$$ Beach Houses will offer a comedic take on buying paradise on a budget, while Tropic Like It’s Hot will put the spotlight on “buyers looking to turn up the heat in life and love.” Meanwhile, Alison Victoria will be tackling the Las Vegas real-estate scene in Sin City Rehab.
While these new (and returning) shows don’t have premiere dates just yet, one thing’s for sure: We’ll have a lot of television to watch in no time. HGTV marathon, anyone?
