Since The Hunting Wives premiered on Netflix in July, it’s become a huge sensation. With a cast that includes Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Katie Lowes, Dermot Mulroney, the show follows a group of socialites who are hiding big secrets… and there are a lot of steamy scenes in the show’s first season.
As awkward as filming some of those more scandalous scenes might be for the cast, is it as awkward as knowing their family will be watching them now that the show is streaming?
Snow hilariously opened up about her mom watching the show during her appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers this week, and let’s just say it’s a good thing she’s not present for those watch parties.
Because yes, there are parties. According to what Snow told host Seth Meyers, her mom’s group of friends has tuned in, but she’s not sure how much of the actual episodes they’ve been able to watch without fast forwarding.
“They all gather around and they watch things that I’m in,” she explained. “And so this was a really interesting party for them, with their wine coolers and their cheese boards and just, ‘Oh, we got to fast forward through that! Nope. We’re going to fast-forward. Oh, we have to fast forward again.’”
She admitted that the show being out now does mean that more people are going to see her “unclothed” — her mom and her friends included — but with a show this good, it seems like it’s got to be worth it.
The first season of Hunting Wives is now streaming on Netflix.
