N-Trance are returning to the dance scene with a brand new single.

After more than two decades since their last song release, the band are back with their track Higher.

In an accompanying music video, the group behind the smash hit Set You Free sing their hearts out on a racetrack.

The lineup for the 90s dance act includes original members Kevin O’Toole and Dale Longworth and features vocals from Rachael Chambers and Tricia McTeague, along with MC B, Jay McCurdy, and DJ Junior K.

After the music video went live on YouTube over the weekend, fans were impressed by their new sound and told the band: ‘Welcome back!’

They commented: ‘For a guy born in 1973 that was 22 when Set You Free blew up this is a welcome return to when dance music was proper. Can’t believe it’s 20yrs since N-Trance last released music. Shows talent doesn’t fade away. Looking forward to a new era of N-Trance. Don’t forget to check out the back catalogue’;

‘As an old N-Trance who never stopped listening to 90s dance in between, I warmly welcome you back! Smash hit!’;

‘This is what I call a good dance song!’ and ‘Love it, love the video, love the time machine car, and really love the memories. Keep on going strong! Thanks for the music.’

The group’s biggest hit was Set You Free, a synth-heavy dance banger featuring Kelly Llorenna’s incredible vocals that was officially released in 1994, reaching number 39 in the charts.

However, after little success, the song was re-released in January 1995 after the group grew in popularity and this time it shot up to number two in the charts – making it their biggest selling single to date.

The group, former by Kevin and Dale in 1990, went on to re-release a remixed version of the song in 2001, which reached number four.

Kelly went on to have further success with the group, with the cover version of Rod Stewart‘s Do Ya Think I’m Sexy bagging the number seven chart position.

Kelly also went on to carve out her own solo career, having success with songs including Tell It To My Heart and Heart Of Gold.

 In the noughties, she returned to N-Trance, with the group recording songs for their album.

Throughout her career, Kelly dominated the mid-nineties and early 2000s charts, having bagged six UK top 10 singles thanks to her series of clubland classics.

Kelly still performs today and entertains fans up and down the country with performances at plethora of nostalgic 90s dance and Club events.

Meanwhile, N-Trace also perform, often at 90s-themed events across the UK and Europe.
