Joe Manganiello and Caitlin O’Connor took their love overseas for an extended European getaway.
“Joe and Caitlin went to San Domenico Palace, the hotel from The White Lotus season 2 in Taormina, Sicily,” an inside source told Us Weekly of the couple’s trip to Italy, adding that they then journeyed to O‘ahu, Hawaii, with friend Adam Jones from Tool before heading to Little Palm Island Resort in the Florida Keys.
There, the duo celebrated O’Connor’s 36th birthday.
“Joe is very sweet,” the source added. “Flowers, caviar, dinner at sunset on the beach and a [birthday] cake — all the relaxation for [the] birthday surprise.”
Manganiello, 48, and O’Connor were first linked in 2023 following the True Blood alum’s separation from Sofía Vergara. The couple made their official red carpet debut later that year before going Instagram official in February 2024.

Since then, it’s been all love and international adventures for the duo, along with Manganiello’s elderly chihuahua, Bubbles.
“Visited the land of my Sicilian ancestors for the first time and it was magical,” the actor wrote via Instagram last month of his and O’Connor’s time in Italy. “We traveled to my ancestral town of Tripi and met the mayor who as it turns out is my cousin! He allowed us to go back into the hall of records and find the home of my great-grandfather Giuseppe Bonanno before he moved the family to the United States and we traced the family back to 1640 in the region. It was absolutely incredible!”
O’Connor, for her part, recapped her “out of office” birthday celebration via Instagram.
“Birthday festivities were had,” the actress and host wrote on Monday, August 4. “Thank you to my love [Joe] for an amazing birthday (that seems to have started with a European vacation two months ago… ❤️ the world tour continues.)”
O’Connor shared a carousel of photos including bikini snaps, good eats, sunset kisses with Manganiello, roses and wine.
