Jamie Lee Curtis appeared on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday, where she couldn’t stop laughing mid-interview when recalling the only time she’s ever asked another celebrity for their autograph.
When the late-night host asked the “Freakier Friday” actress the question, she attempted to hold in her laughter until the host asked, “Who did you ask?”
Curits had trouble getting the words out amongst her laughing outburst until she lays her head on the desk and answered with, “Urkel.”
Jaleel White played Steve Urkel on “Family Matters” from 1989 to 1998.
Curtis, who has two daughters Annie and Ruby, then explains her Urkel encounter, “I was with my child. And they wanted the autograph.”
All these years later, she still has the signature, she admits it’s one of her daughter’s scrapbooks.
Colbert admits to her that it was a nice thing to have done for her kid to which she responds, “I’m a nice mom.”
