ABC, which is owned by Disney, said on Wednesday, Sept. 17, that it will indefinitely stop airing “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” after Kimmel’s comments about Kirk’s assassination were criticized by the head of the Federal Communications Commission, USA TODAY reports.
“‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ will be pre-empted indefinitely,” a spokesperson for the network told USA TODAY. USA TODAY has reached out to Kimmel’s representatives for comment.
