ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Soundtrack Film Music Festival is happening now in Rochester, bringing in elite talent to help celebrate the music behind movies, TV and videogames.
The festival is presenting panels and performances through Sunday.
Saturday, John Williams Reimagined will piece together some of Williams more notable scores from hits like E.T. and Star Wars, but also includes lesser-known compositions like one from Witches of Eastwick.
The performance features three elite musicians, including flutist Sara Andon.
Andon the show’s producer, Robert Townson, sat down with Adam Chodak today talk about the project.
That interview starts streaming Thursday at 8 p.m. on the RochesterFirst streaming app.
