Justin and Hailey Bieber’s Son’s Halloween Costume Is a Throwback to His Dad’s Pop Star Heyday

For Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber, this year’s Halloween centered around their 1-year-old son, Jack Blues Bieber—with a sweet nod to Justin’s past.

For his second Halloween, Jack dressed up as his dad during his pop star heyday, proving that he is, in fact, Justin’s biggest fan. Jack, who turned a year old in August, was costumed as a teenage Bieber, wearing white pants and a matching white jacket with a purple hood and purple trim. It’s a look Justin was famous for wearing during his My World Tour in support of his album My World 2.0.

“Happy Halloween from JBB🎃🎃🎃💜,” Hailey captioned her post, referencing the initials of both her husband and her son.

In addition to paying homage to his dad, on her Instagram Story Hailey shared photos of herself in an Incredibles costume and Jack in a costume styled like Jack-Jack from the movie, captioning the photo of her son “Jack Jack does in fact have powers.”

This sweet costume of Jack’s was a spooky follow-up to last year’s look, which was their first Halloween as a family of three. To mark the special occasion, the trio channeled Kim Possible. Hailey dressed up as the early aughts action hero, with a red wig and cargo pants, while Justin was her partner-in-crime, Ron; baby Jack, meanwhile, went as Ron’s pet naked mole rat Rufus.

Hailey later shared the sweet photos in an Instagram carousel captioned “October things ✅✅😌.” The rest of the images was a mix of Halloween and non-Halloween related content, including a few mirror selfies and a close-up shot of her massive engagement ring. The rhode founder also shared a snapshot of Jack’s Halloween-themed onesie.

That wasn’t the only costume that Hailey donned last year, of course. The mom-of-one also collaborated with fellow model Kendall Jenner on another joint costume inspired by The Simple Life, the iconic Y2K reality TV show starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Hailey and Jenner dressed up as Richie and Hilton, respectively.

The reality show celebrated its 20th anniversary the year prior, in 2003. To celebrate, Hailey and Kendall recreated its season one poster, which is itself a reference to the 1930 oil painting “American Gothic.” In keeping with the original, Kendall wore a denim corset and pleated mini skirt, while Hailey wore denim overalls and a pink lace bra. The 818 founder even included her dog in the photo, just as Hilton did back in 2003.
