Following his July death, Ozzy Osbourne’s family continues to remember the late rockstar. In a recent video, Kelly Osbourne’s son continued his eccentric legacy for Halloween
Kelly Osbourne’s family celebrated Halloween with a familiar nod to her late father, Ozzy Osbourne.
In a recent TikTok, the 41-year-old’s son, 2, who she shares with Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, appeared all dressed up in a skeleton costume. He was spotted ripping off a bat toy’s head with his teeth, giving the camera a triumphant look. The child, named Sidney after his dad, laughed as the opening rift from Crazy Train by Black Sabbath played in the background.
The sweet tribute seemed to reference a famous incident where Ozzy bit the head off of a live bat during a 1982 concert. He later confessed that he didn’t realize the bat was alive, thinking it was a toy bat. He also noted that he contracted rabies from the incident.

Ozzy’s accidental bat stunt quickly swept through the world as an iconic moment in rock and roll history, frequently referenced in pop culture. In fact, it was recreated on the 2000 comedy Little Nicky, which featured a cameo from Ozzy himself.
Kelly’s video was posted just three months after Ozzy’s death. At the time, his family released a statement, saying, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
Before his death, Ozzy was notably not in great health as he battled Parkinson’s disease. His cause of death was listed as a heart attack on his death certificate.
The loss was difficult to believe. After all, while the world speculated for years about his poor health, his family, especially Kelly, was adamant he’d be okay. In fact, just before his death, she told off the internet for their relentless claims.
In an Instagram story from July 11, she said, “There’s this video going around on social media, and it’s supposed to be my dad, but it’s AI. It has a voice like my dad’s David Attenborough or something. And it starts out saying, ‘I don’t need a doctor to tell me that I’m going to die. I know I’m going to die.’ He’s not dying.
“Yes, he has Parkinson’s, and yes, his mobility is completely different than it used to be, but he’s not dying. What is wrong with you?”
Ozzy was famous for his lasting legacy on music with his band Black Sabbath. The heavy metal band sold over 70 million records with hits like War Pigs, Crazy Train, and Paranoid.
Nicknamed The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy also worked on his own solo music. However, weeks before his death, he reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates for the first time in two decades for a farewell show.
