Austin area locals can catch live music at the Austin Reggae Festival or celebrate Earth and Arbor Day in New Braunfels this weekend.

Encore for the Palace: A Benefit Concert

Georgetown Palace Theatre will host 66 performers over two days, with evenings of music and memories to raise money to repair and preserve the theater after recent water damage. The shows will feature stars from past seasons performing Broadway classics and more.

Austin Reggae Festival

The festival is a fundraiser for the Capital Area Food Bank and features three days of reggae, world and dub music.

Annual New Braunfels Community Earth Day & Arbor Day Celebration

Along with giving away 1,000 trees to residents, this annual celebration will help educate participants about the importance of conservation.

For the Love of Parks

The Travis County Parks Foundation’s 4th annual festival celebrates the county’s 27 parks with live music, face painting, animal encounters, interactive learning stations, pick-up sports, food and more. This year’s event also marks the public launch of the Park Stewards Program, a new volunteer initiative.

Springfest

Hosted by the Children’s Advocacy Center and CASA of Bastrop, Fayette & Lee Counties, the family-friendly event will feature a play zone, food trucks, games and music as well as a chance to meet first responders, educators and other community leaders.

Pop-Up Picnic

This 13th annual fundraising event features live music and picnic baskets from Austin restaurants.
