Meghan Trainor is enjoying a night out to support one of her close friends.
The Toy with Me artist, 32, shared a series of photos on her Instagram of herself and several of her friends enjoying a mom’s night out at Hilary Duff‘s concert in Los Angeles. In the carousel post, Trainor, who’s a mom of three, included several videos and pictures of her and her mom group having fun at the show.
The group photo featured Trainor, Gaby Dalkin, Mandy Moore, Barb Thompson, Amanda Kaplan Lillywhite, Janice Gott, Kelsey Deenihan Fisher and Whitney Wagner Hartley.
“@hilaryduff thank u for the best concert with the best people💗,” she wrote in the caption.
The mom group outing comes after months after Ashley Tisdale French‘s viral essay “Breaking Up with My Toxic Mom Group” for The Cut. In the essay, the High School Musical star, 41, did not directly name the members of the mom group in question, but there’s been plenty of online chatter about the fact that Tisdale French previously spent time with stars like Moore, Duff and Trainor as a new mom.
After the essay went viral, sources around Tisdale French and her former mom group shed light on the real reasons behind their falling-out.
“It was a misalignment of values that Ashley decided to make public,” a source close to the group told PEOPLE exclusively. “Friends naturally drift apart. It didn’t warrant a dramatic breakup text.”
The Lizzie McGuire alum, 38, who’s a mom of four, shared her initial reaction to the essay during her appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy in February.
“I felt really sad. I honestly felt really sad,” she said. “I was pretty, pretty taken aback and felt just, like, sad.”
She added that becoming a mom has brought different groups of mom friends into her life. “So I think I just was like, ‘Woah,’ ” she added. “It sucks to read something that’s, like, not true. And it sucks on behalf of six women in all of their lives.”

Back in January, Trainor shared a video on her TikTok, commenting for the first time on the drama following the viral essay. Trainor joked about the moment she learned about the drama.
“Me finding out about the apparent mom group drama,” Trainor wrote across a video, which included a clip of her sitting at her computer. The mom of two could be seen typing and looking animatedly at her screen, appearing shocked. The video was set to her new single, “Still Don’t Care,” off her upcoming album Toy with Me (out April 24).
“☕️☕️☕️ #stilldontcare,” Trainor, who shares sons Barry, 2, and Riley, 5, with husband Daryl Sabara, wrote in her caption.
