Former talk show host Megyn Kelly is in tip-top shape thanks to her strict diet and workout plan.
The 55-year-old former Fox News anchor detailed how she achieved her fit physique for The Daily Mail. Megyn’s sculpted body has been maintained through healthy nutrition and an active lifestyle, which developed after she evolved.
“I have previously stated that I work out with a trainer two times a week for 45 minutes only, which makes me do it,” the Megyn Kelly Show podcast told the Daily Mail. Megyn’s confession came amid her refusal to back down from President Donald Trump, 79.
While Megyn does have a fitness coach, she also works out solo, often exercising “one or two times” on her own outside of her trainer.
“Usually, I do one to two times on my own in addition,” Megyn explained to the news publication, noting that she normally skipped the heavy cardio and walked or took some steps on the elliptical.
Megyn sweats it out in the gym or the sauna, where research has shown that the activity can help alleviate pain, lower blood pressure, and improve mood.
She shared that she “loved” to visit the “sauna at least four times a week.” When it comes to her diet, Megyn divulged she preferred a Mediterranean diet rich in fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and olive oil.
“Pretty much every day I have two to three eggs with a piece of sourdough toast and an avocado or a piece of fruit,” she informed the Daily Mail. “And then for both lunch and dinner, I have a lean protein and a veggie.”
If she “needs a snack,” she “usually” goes for “nuts with salt but no seed oils on them.”
Megyn might stick to a healthy diet most of the time, but she still treats herself from time to time. She confessed that she “sometimes has some Häagen-Dazs” ice cream at night, but “just a little” thought.
“I love [the flavor] caramel cone,” she revealed. “A little goes a long way.”
