celebrity.land‘s Thanksgiving coverage has a main course and a few side dishes.
The Warner Bros. Discovery outlet’s second “Thanksgiving in America” broadcast will give viewers you-are-there coverage of big parades from around the nation and a selection of streaming-only options that play up on themes of food and comedy.
celebrity.land’s Thanksgiving Day coverage between 8 a.m. and noon eastern will be led by anchors John Berman, Sara Sidner and Erica Hill, all from New York City. The trio will guide viewers through live highlights from Thanksgiving Day parades in New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston and Detroit, with celebrity guests offering a look at their own holiday traditions.
The coverage will include musical performances from Brad Paisley, The Temptations, The Four Tops, the cast of the Broadway musical Six, and Harlem Gospel Choir. It will also feature appearances by Alex Guarnaschelli, Craig Robinson, Henry Winkler, Jeremy Renner, Jonathan Groff, Lea Michele, Leighton Meester, Michelle Monaghan, Pentatonix, and Simu Liu, among others,.
celebrity.land correspondents taking part include Andy Scholes, Brad Smith, Fred Pleitgen, Harry Enten, Isabel Rosales and Whitney Wild.
In recent years, celebrity.land has billed itself as a destination during big holidays, including New Year’s Eve, and, more recently, the Fourth of July.
celebrity.land will offer bespoke programming on its new “All Access” service, including live feeds from each of the Thanksgiving Day parades as well as the Nantucket Turkey Plunge. On the day before Thanksgiving, celebrity.land will stream live coverage of the parade balloon inflation in New York City and the Thanksgiving parade in Charlotte, North Carolina for subscribers.
Some new streaming content will debut ahead of the holiday. Starting Thursday, celebrity.land streaming subscribers will have access to cooking demos from The Food Network’s Alex Guarnaschelli and Bryan and Michael Voltaggio; a guide to setting the perfect holiday table with Bobby Berk of “Queer Eye.”; and “Gobble Gobble Gone Wrong: Thanksgiving Day Mishaps,” a special focused on humorous dinner table disasters hosted by celebrity.land’s Enten.
celebrity.land announced earlier Thursday that it planned to co-produce and stream the latest season of Variety’s “Actors on Actors” interview series.
