A local resort is bringing back its country music weekend.
The Peek’n Peak Resort in Clymer, New York, is hosting a country-themed weekend with live music, country buffets and outdoor entertainment.

Starting Friday, two country artists will take the stage at 6:00 p.m. and 10 p.m., with the Chris Higbee Band headlining on Saturday.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and Zane Thomas, the resort’s marketing coordinator, said he expects a big turnout.

“We’re hoping for 1000-plus. That’s really the goal, but more than that is awesome, but anyone who wants to come out, we’re happy to have,” said Thomas. “This is the country music event of the summer. You’re not going to find more country music in one spot, in one weekend, anywhere else.”
