Who should you follow in the First State?

We want you to help us decide as part of “Delaware’s Top Influencer” contest that will run this fall.

There’s a media personality, fashion blogger, football player, dancer, travel expert, foodie, former MTV “Teen Mom,” comedic handyman and brotherly roller-skating duo vying for the top prize.

On Sept. 2, Delaware Online launched a search for the First State’s top content creator. We scoured social media and tapped into our newsroom chatter to ask: “Who are the must-follow influencers based in Delaware?”

Every week readers will decide on their favorites with the list reduced based on the lowest vote getters.

The list will begin with the top 31 influencers, drop to 15 for Round 2, cutdown to seven for Round 3 and then drop to three for Round 4 before Round 5 pits the two finalists against each other for the crown.

Voting for each round will run each Tuesday through Sunday starting Tuesday, Sept. 2 and ending Sunday, Oct. 5.

• Chocolate Kings: TikTok creators who became popular for doing handshakes. The TikTok channel has 2.3M followers | @chocolatekings_

• Em + Abby: A young girl named Abigail Grace has special needs and appears in videos that reveal her adventures. The TikTok page has 1M followers. | @amazingabigailgrace 

• JusCallMeMrsMoore: A woman and her husband document their daily adventures with 3.4M TikTok followers. | @t.m.m.41 

• Brady Lockerby: This TikToker is known for sharing book recommendations and fashion. She has 722K TikTok fans and 298K followers on Instagram. | @bradylockerby 

• Cindy Dionicio: This 20-something mom documents her life working two jobs while owning a small cleaning company. She has 142K TikTok fans. | @Cindy.Dionicio

• Max Patterson: This wide receiver from the University of Delaware shows off his dances and other fun content to over 383K TikTok followers. | @0routez 

• Miraclehandz: Adored by 409K TikTok fans, this hair salon in Wilmington makes popular cosmetic content. | @_miraclehandz0

• Davi: TikTok dancer represents Delaware and NYC, entertaining his audience of 1.7M followers. | @dlxstv 

• Pustika Samaddar: Delaware, New York, Jersey and Pennsylvania are locations this travel influencer visits. She has 125K Instagram followers. | @pustika_samaddar 

• Maya Centrella: She creates food TikToks for 105K fans. | @Mayacent  

• Yasmyn Switzer: She documents parenthood, while also sharing lifestyle content with her 700K followers on TikTok. | @YasmynSwitzer 

• Zachary Loft: Delaware realtor who creates entertainment and informative videos for 1.7M fans on TikTok. | @zacharyloft 

• Vee Rivera: A beauty influencer with 420K TikTok fans. | @veeautifyme 

• Matt Fixxit: A comedic handyman who gives tips and cracks jokes for his 1.1M TikTok followers. | @mattfixxit 

• Dr Todd Grande: This YouTube host, according to his bio, is a licensed professional counselor of mental health who creates content that explores topics like mental health to pop culture for his 16.M YouTube followers. | @DrGrande 

• Chris Clemens: A comedian with 524K IG followers.  | @chrisklemens

• Meghan & Jack: A couple who create humorous videos together for 6.2M TikTok followers. | @meghanandjack

• FirstStateFishing: A fishing enthusiast who documents his adventures for 677K YouTube followers and 109K IG fans. | @firststatefishing

• Loren LoRosa: She’s an entertainment news correspondent, producer, actress and vlogger who is now known for her creating a presence on the popular New York radio show The Breakfast Club. She has 256K IG followers. | @lorenlorosa

•  Sofia Valastro: Although she’s from New Jersey, Sofia graduated this spring from UD. She’s the daughter of TV’s “Cake Boss” and she posts a mix of clips from that show and her day-to-day life to her audience of 336K fans on IG and 53K followers on TikTok. | @fiav_21

• Griffin Brothers: These Delaware brothers have made a lot of noise through roller skating and have skated with famous entertainers. The Griffin Brothers have over 900K followers on both IG and TikTok. | @griffinbrothersskating | IG: the_griffin_brothers__
