LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Richard Thomas, known for his role as John-Boy Walton in “The Waltons,” will be playing prolific American writer Mark Twain in “Mark Twain Tonight” at the Robinson Center.
Thomas highlighted some aspects of why he enjoys portraying Twain.
“The things that he was talking about and thinking about in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century are the same things we are talking about right now,” Thomas said. “He does it with such provocation, and such gusto, and such a sense of fun that he is a great character to spend about an hour and a half with.”
