The tour news comes as Weezer is also preparing to debut a new song, “Shine Again,” on April 1, as a preview of its next studio album and first on new label home Reprise/Warner Records.
All of this activity also lands as “Go Away” — a song featuring Best Coast‘s Bethany Cosentino from Weezer’s 2014 studio album Everything Will Be Alright in the End — has picked up a significant surge in popularity thanks to going viral on TikTok in recent weeks. As of this article’s publication, the song is within the Top 40 Daily Viral Songs Chart, amassing roughly a million streams a day on average.
