Savannah Chrisley is mourning the loss of her close friend, conservative political commentator Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University on September 10.
The Chrisley Knows Best star, 28, got candid about her grief in an emotional TikTok Wednesday night, revealing just how close she and Kirk, 31, had become over the past two and a half years.
“I was supposed to be sitting next to Charlie every weekend in October,” she shared — referencing the Turning Point USA founder’s planned American Comeback Tour across college campuses — noting she was “devastated beyond words” about the loss.

Kirk had been a major supporter of Chrisley’s efforts to free her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were convicted of financial crimes in 2022 before being pardoned by President Donald Trump in May.
The reality star also sent love to Kirk’s wife, Erika, calling her “one of the kindest, most loving human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing” and asked her followers to pray for his family.
Kirk was beginning his tour when the tragic incident occurred, cutting short what was meant to be a month-long speaking series.
