The Osbourne family returned to their podcast this week, for the first time since Ozzy Osbourne’s death.
Sharon, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne came back to The Osbournes Podcast, sans the Prince of Darkness since his passing in the summer. In the episode of the podcast that aired on Wednesday, November 12, the trio emotionally reflected on Ozzy’s passing. While discussing the loss of the Black Sabbath frontman, they also shared the condolences they received from President Donald Trump.
During the podcast, the family played a voicemail that Trump left for Sharon following Ozzy’s death. Jack, 40, began by asking his mother, 73, and sister, 41, if they should play the voicemail and stated they wouldn’t tell the audience who it was from, but they “will know.”

“Hi Sharon, it’s Donald Trump, and I just wanted to wish you the best and the family,” Trump said in the voicemail. “Ozzy was amazing, he was an amazing guy. I met him a few times and I wanted to tell you he was unique in every way and talented.
“So, I just wanted to wish you the best. And it’s a tough thing, I know how close you were. And whatever I can do. Take care of yourself. Say hello to the family. Thanks, bye,” Trump added.
After playing the voicemail, Jack said, “Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.”
Sharon, on the other hand, praised the divisive president. The two previously worked together on season nine of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2010.
“Listen, when it comes to politics, we know nobody comes out a winner,” she said. “All I know is a man that I know, I worked with for a month, I spent one month with him and his wife, who was always gracious, elegant, just a delight to talk to his wife, and he was always, ‘How are the children, how’s Kelly, I’m so proud of Kelly and Jack for what they’ve done and their manners are great.’ And he was just a great guy to talk to. And he has always treated me with respect.”
Over on X formerly Twitter, people were not happy with Sharon praising Trump as one person wrote, “Sharon Osbourne in the new podcast about Ozzy f—ing hell shes pathetic,” while another wrote, “Giving me new reasons to hate em.”
Over on Instagram, many blasted Trump as one person said, “First nice thing Trump has done since he won the election.” And another said, “Trump has NOT been helping anyone recently… Deported innocent families, even Americans, and he is a sh—y person.”
On the podcast, Sharon went on to talk about how she didn’t vote for anyone, doesn’t want to and can’t because she’s not American. She added that Trump has treated her and Ozzy with “respect” and how he and Melania have “wanted nothing from us.” Sharon said that the married couple “have been great.”
The former manager started to tear up, continuing, “And for him to take his time to do that for us, and because you know what? He doesn’t live in a bubble. He knows what’s going on in the streets. He knows what is going on. And I can’t say that for our prime minister. Again, for President Trump and Melania, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
The family also shared that King Charles shared his condolences too. Sharon gushed about the royal saying he is a “good, caring man” with a “good heart.”
Ozzy died on July 22 at the age of 76. His causes of death were “acute myocardial infarction,” “out of hospital cardiac arrest,” and “coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction (Joint Causes).”
The iconic rockstar had gone through a series of health struggles regarding spinal injuries from a quad- bike accident in 2003, his Parkinson’s disease and a serious fall in 2019.
