On Wednesday, New England Patriots wide receiver and former Buffalo Bills star Stefon Diggs made headlines after Cardi B announced they were expecting their first child together.
Their child, who is expected to arrive in early 2026, will become a younger sibling to Diggs’ 8-year-old daughter, Nova. But now, a day later, since discovered court documents indicate that there’s a possibility that Diggs may also be the father to another young girl who was born earlier this year.
According to documents obtained by People, fashion influencer and model Aileen Lopera, who goes by Lord Gisselle on Instagram, has accused Diggs of fathering her baby girl born in April. While Lopera has granted Diggs visitation rights in the documents, she is seeking legal and physical custody of the child.
The documents were first filed against Diggs in December 2024, four months before the baby was born.
In July, Diggs responded to the lawsuit, contesting the paternity and requesting genetic testing to establish the girl’s father. He also expressed a desire for joint legal and physical custody if he is confirmed as the father, along with shared responsibility for “reasonable expenses” related to the pregnancy, birth, and attorney fees. It’s unclear if Diggs’ request is underway.
However, the documents reveal that Lopera has given her five-month-old daughter Diggs’ last name, with the baby’s full name being Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera.
In a statement to People, Lopera’s attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, said: “My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles.”
Cardi B and Diggs first sparked relationship rumors in October 2024, but did not confirm their romance until May, when they made their first public appearance together at a Boston Celtics and New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. The “I Like It” rapper’s baby with Diggs will be their first child together and her fourth overall. She shares three children with her ex-husband Offset, who she was married to from 2017 to 2024.
