Taylor Swift Had Something to Say to ‘Male Sports Fans’ originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Taylor Swift has been dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for nearly two years now, and by this point, the pop star is already used to the criticism and typical comments thrown her way by some sports fans because of their relationship.
Swift, however, couldn’t be bothered by the negative buzz. That much is clear after the “Anti-Hero” hitmaker dropped a priceless message after Jason Kelce’s introduction of her on “New Heights,” the podcast he hosts with his brother. Swift had been announced as this week’s special guest.
What Did Swift Say to ‘Male Sports Fans’?
On Wednesday, hours before the release of Swift’s special episode, the “New Heights” social media accounts posted a clip showing how Jason Kelce introduced the global music sensation.
After a lengthy introduction that highlighted several of Swift’s achievements, the 35-year-old singer expressed her appreciation for Travis Kelce’s older brother and praised how incredible his introduction was.

However, what stood out was her seemingly sarcastic shot at sports fans who keep hating on her.
“As we all know, you know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast, and, uhm, I think we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it’s more of me,” she confidently said with a smile.
Even the NFL took notice of the message and shared the video on Instagram, writing in the caption, “the ending.”
The NFL’s social media team knows very well how many negative reactions Swift gets from male sports fans. After all, whenever the NFL’s social media accounts make posts about the singer, there are tons of commenters bashing the league and telling it to stick to sports.
Even Fans Take Notice of Taylor Swift’s Message
For what it’s worth, Swift’s message also didn’t go unnoticed by fans, with one even commenting, “not her calling out the insecure men at the end.”
A fan added, “Just came for the comments and seeing grown men cry.”
“The best male sports fans rage bait >>>,” a commenter stated. Another one remarked, “Oh the boys bout to be mad mad & we ready for itttt.”
“The end is why she is Taylor Swift,” a poster confidently said.
A social media user shared, “In on the joke. She’s awesome. This is so fun. Can’t wait to listen.”
