Taylor Swift is pulling back the curtain and giving fans a peek at her life.
On Monday, October 13, Good Morning America announced that the 35-year-old superstar would be releasing a Disney+ docuseries titled The End of an Era, which will showcase her time on The Eras Tour.
It was also revealed that the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker would drop a new full-length concert film titled The Eras Tour: The Final Show, which will include her set from The Tortured Poets Department — unlike her 2023 film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
“People like to talk about phenomenons. Almost as if it was pieces falling into place,” Swift remarked in the trailer. “As if it just happened.”
“The Eras Tour wasn’t when all the pieces fell into place,” she continued. “This tour is just when every single one of us who had done so much work, pushing, inch by inch to where we all clicked together.”

“We have broken every single record you can break with this tour,” Swift added. “The only thing left is to close the book.”
The 14-time Grammy winner — who released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, earlier this month — posted the trailer on her Instagram and shared some remarks about the two projects in her caption.
“It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down,” Swift explained. “And to film the final show in its entirety.”
“The Eras Tour | The Final Show, featuring the entire Tortured Poets Department set, and the first two episodes of The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries will be yours December 12th on @disneyplus,” she added.
