The Royal Family has opened a book of condolence for the Duchess of Kent available for people around the world to sign.
The online tribute was begun by Buckingham Palace as official mourning continued.
The Duchess died on September 4 at her home at Kensington Palace. She was 92.
Her family, including her husband, The Duke of Kent, and their three children were with her.
Tributes have already poured in for Katharine who gave up her royal duties to become a music teacher. Among those remembering her was Martina Navratilova, the record breaking Wimbledon champion who recalled how much the Duchess of Kent had done to help her reunite with her mother in difficult circumstances.
Now, people around the world will be able to add their own condolences as the online book opens up.

Buckingham Palace announced the death of The Duchess of Kent on September 5, saying she had passed away peacefully at Kensington Palace.
The Duchess was one of the most popular members of the Royal Family and spent decades carrying out public engagement with a particular focus on supporting young people.
She became the first member of the Royal Family to publicly convert to Catholicism in centuries when she was baptised into the faith in 1994.
Her funeral will take place at Westminster Cathedral on September 16 with King Charles and Queen Camilla in attendance. It will be the first public Catholic funeral for a senior member of the Royal Family in 300 years.
