NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — New York, New York, a wonderful town!
Don’t you love New York in the fall? It’s a great time to rank movies set in the Big Apple.
New York City has been the center of countless iconic movies over the last century, and Rotten Tomatoes has neatly assembled the best of the best into an extensive rankings list.
From “Annie” to “The Warriors,” there’s no stone left unturned in this Top 212 list. The rankings are based on each film’s adjusted Tomatometer, which takes Tomatometer score, audience reviews, year of release and more into account.
Documentaries were also included in the ranking.
The number 212 was chosen because it was the first area code assigned to New York City by AT&T in the 1940s.
