Kayla Nicole is seemingly throwing shade at her ex Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift.
The sports journalist and entrepreneur, 34, appeared in an ad for the fantasy sports platform Sleeper that aired during the 2026 Super Bowl.
The clip saw actress Tiffany Haddish and basketball player Ben Simmons join forces to promote their fictional firm Haddish and Simmons, which helps individuals get “ex-communicated” from their former partners after suffering a big celebrity breakup.

Nicole was one of the testimonials featured in the ad, although she wasn’t exactly a big fan of Haddish and Simmons’ work in her case.
“Child, don’t get me started on these two. They have no idea what they’re doing,” she remarked. “At all.”
A chyron described Nicole as an “ex of a certain NFL player” but did not directly name Kelce. She and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end were in an on-and-off relationship for about five years, from 2017 until 2022.
Nicole continued, “Simmons and Haddish promised me that they could put an end to this whole ‘ex-girlfriend fiasco’ quickly.”
However, Simmons pointed out that wasn’t the terminology they had agreed upon. After a brief argument, the basketball star eventually groused, “I said swiftly! Why is that so hard to remember!?”

The commercial also starred Offset, who dated rapper Cardi B, as well as Ace Greene from Love Island USA.
Kelce attended this year’s Super Bowl, appearing to be in good spirits as he smiled from the sidelines during the presentation of the Walter Payton Man of the Year award at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. Following his split from Nicole, Kelce began dating Swift in 2023 and the pair announced their engagement last August.
Swift has also had a busy week with the release of the music video for her song “Opalite.” It’s a track that many have speculated is about Nicole since Swift’s album The Life of a Showgirl was released in October.
On the track, Swift seemingly reflects on Kelce’s past relationships and why they didn’t work out.
“You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone and you were just a pose,” she sings. “And don’t we try to love love? / We give it all we got / You finally left the table, and what a simple thought / You’re starving till you’re not.”
Nicole appeared to react to the track on Instagram following its release by sharing a clip from America’s Next Top Model in which Tyra Banks asked contestant Eva Marcille how she compares herself to the rest of the competitors.
To which she responded, “I don’t compare myself to other girls… I’m no comparison to anyone else.”
