Travis Kelce’s nieces are absolutely delighted about his engagement to Taylor Swift, their mom has revealed.
Jason, Travis‘ 37-year-old brother, and his 33-year-old wife Kylie are parents to four daughters – five year old Wyatt, four-year-old Ellie, two-year-old Bennett, and baby Finn, who arrived in March.
The youngsters are bursting with enthusiasm about welcoming another aunt into the family.
During an appearance on Good Morning America, Kylie disclosed, “The girls are thrilled. They’re so excited they’re getting another aunt.
“We could not be more excited for them and what the future holds. We love love, and we love Taylor and Trav.”
Her comments came after reports surfaced that Travis’ relatives are “very happy” about the NFL star’s engagement to the 35-year-old Taylor.
The 35-year-old tight end and the Cardigan hitmaker announced their engagement last month after two years of dating, with sources confirming that Travis’s parents Donna and Ed, alongside Jason and Kylie, completely “adore” the music superstar.
A source told People, “She goes out of her way to show the whole family how much she cares for not just Travis, but all of them, down to Jason’s kids.”
The insider explained how Taylor has charmed the Kelce family through “thoughtful gifts and bakes” while managing her hectic music career.

An insider revealed, “Having the spotlight on him came with a huge learning curve, but it’s one he was totally willing to figure out with her from the start because he knew how special she was. He was determined to make this work.”
This comes after Travis’ father, Ed Kelce, disclosed that his son popped the question to Taylor two weeks before they announced it to the world.
He shared, “I was at an Eagles practice, a public practice that they had a lot of people that, well, the Eagles had 60,000 people at a public practice two weeks ago on a Sunday night.
“So at that practice I got a FaceTime call from them, and as soon as I saw the FaceTime, I saw it was Travis, and then I saw Taylor there with him, I knew what they were going to say, and they let us know.”
Ed shared with News 5 Cleveland, “He was going to put it off till this week. I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put it off till this week, too, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event.
“And I told him repeatedly: you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place, that makes it a special event, when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.
“They were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘Let’s go out and have a glass of wine,’ they got out there, and that’s when he asked her, and it was beautiful.”
Adding further, he said, “They’re just two young people very much in love, cast in a spotlight that they really haven’t sought but kind of followed with their success in their respective fields.”
He mentioned, “It was kind of funny, about a week ago I asked Travis: ‘When are you going to announce the engagement?’ He said: ‘Whenever Taylor says so.'”
