A NEW podcast starring a range of celebrity guests in a bar in Warrington has been released.
Joe Millington is a 19-year-old podcaster who lives in Great Sankey and came up with the idea back in April.
After months of organising, the former St Gregory’s High School student launched Celeb Shake Up.
The podcast sees celebrities pay a visit to Hideout Bar in Warrington and make their own cocktails.
These will then be sold for £2 each at the bar, on Sankey Street, for two weeks following the release of each episode.
The proceeds will then go to the celebrity’s charity of choice.

“It’s been a lot of work and organising,” he said.
“A lot of them have been willing to do it potentially because it’s a bit of fun and I suppose the charity aspect.”
The first episode, which features comedian Karl Porter, was filmed in June and has now been released.
“I was nervous, but he was really easy to talk to – they all have been,” said Joe.
“Anything where I can talk and have a bit of fun has been my dream job, so this gives me a good chance to do that.”
The first episode has been released on YouTube, with more set to follow including an episode with BBC Traitors star Theo Mayne and Ru Paul’s Drag Race Star Veronica Green.
While the first series has not yet been fully released, Joe is already hard at work planning the next series – with some even bigger names.

“I try to cover a range of people with different personalities and stuff,” said Joe.
“We’ve got one confirmed for the next series already who is a comedian who’s been on QI and Have I Got News for You.
“Some of the celebrities we’ve got are much bigger than the ones in series one, following wise.
“We’ve got someone who won Big Brother, social media stars, reality stars, one or two drag queens.”
Celeb Shake Up is available to watch on YouTube, and updates about the series can be found on Instagram and TikTok.
The next episode, starring singer Bronnie Hughes, is set to be released on Sunday.
