(ABC 6 News) – Monster trucks are coming to the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester Saturday with demolition, freestyle tricks, races and more.
The Monster X Tour is a national tour that fills out smaller venues across the country that bigger shows can’t.
“I think the biggest difference with us and Monster Jam is we go where Monster Jam would would never fathom of going,” says Monster X Tour COO Tony Maderazzo. “So we bring that level of entertainment closer to home.”
The show will feature five monster trucks competing in multiple events including tricks and races, as well as smaller shows with motocross, lawnmower racing and go kart racing.
Two shows are happening 1:30 P.M. and 7:30 P.M. with pit parties happening from 12-1 and 6-7 where guests who purchase a pass can interact with the drivers and see the trucks up close before the main event.
Attendees can also purchase tickets to ride a truck during the pit parties or after the shows.
Tickets are still available online and at the venue at the civic center box office.
