Rising 9-1-1: Nashville actress Isabelle Tate died on Sunday, October 19 at the age of 23, her family confirmed in her obituary.
Per TMZ, the 23-year-old performer suffered from Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a rare progressive neuromuscular disorder that can weaken not only the legs but also internal organs like the lungs and brain, according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Her agent explained that Tate’s condition often left her reliant on a wheelchair — but she never let the condition define her.

Tate had just made her acting debut on ABC’s 911: Nashville, appearing in the pilot episode as Julie — a bachelorette party guest opposite actor Hunter McVey.
LeAnn Rimes and Chris O’Donnell also star in the series.
In her obituary, her family described her as “full of fire” and “the life of the party.”
“What a beautiful spirit,” makeup artist Jennifer Garner wrote on Instagram following the news, per The U.S. Sun. “I did her makeup for episode 1 of 911 Nashville. She will be missed.”
