Tiger Shroff’s latest action thriller Baaghi 4 continues to struggle at the box office, and while audiences criticised him for choosing another weak storyline, the recent wave of trolling has little to do with the film itself. Instead, Tiger faced backlash for an ‘alleged’ PR stunt pulled off during the movie’s promotions.

Paparazzi captured the moment, but an Instagram user dismissed it as mere “show-off.” Tiger’s mother, Ayesha Shroff, quickly jumped in, telling the troll to “shut up” and defending her son.
The Instagram reel soon caught Ayesha Shroff’s attention. Jumping into the comments section, she clapped back at the troll, writing, “Attitude toh you are throwing! You don’t know my son, so shut up!” Her sharp response quickly grabbed eyeballs, with many fans praising her for standing up for Tiger.
On the work front, Tiger’s latest release, Baaghi 4, crossed the ₹50 crore mark in its opening week in India. Directed by A Harsha, the action-packed drama features Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, and introduces former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu in her acting debut. Written and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film drew negative reviews, with audiences criticising its excessive violence and drawing parallels with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, though its star power helped it make a strong initial box office impact.
Tiger Shroff’s last major hit was Baaghi 3 (2020), directed by Ahmed Khan. The action-packed entertainer starred Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, and Ankita Lokhande. Loosely based on the Tamil film Vettai, it revolved around a man who sets out to rescue his kidnapped brother from terrorists in Syria. Despite mixed reviews, the film impressed with high-octane stunts and collected over ₹130 crore at the Indian box office before the pandemic cut short its run.
