Rylan Clark first came to public attention on The X Factor, but it was his victory on Celebrity Big Brother that launched him into a busy career as a presenter and all-round TV favourite. Since then, he’s fronted shows such as This Morning, The Xtra Factor, Supermarket Sweep and Ready Steady Cook.
Rylan joined Celebrity Gogglebox in 2019 as part of the first-ever celebrity series, appearing on the sofa with his mum Linda. The duo proved such a hit that they returned for subsequent runs, taking part again in 2020 before rejoining the cast in 2022 after a short break.

Stephen Mangan and Anita
Actor Stephen Mangan teamed up with his illustrator sister Anita for season five of Celebrity Gogglebox, and the pair returned for the seventh season in June.
“Two of the things I love most are TV and my sister – so this should be a laugh,” Stephen said at the time.

Shaun Ryder and Bez
Shaun Ryder and Bez joined Celebrity Gogglebox in 2019 and quickly became fan favourites for their hilarious commentary, often filmed from Shaun’s house. The Happy Mondays duo returned to the sofa for a new series in June 2025.
Speaking to RadioTimes.com, Ryder said filming with Bez was “really good fun,” adding: “It’s not like a job – we’ve been doing this for nearly 40 years, watching telly and commenting on everything.”
Bez admitted some shows are harder to watch than others. “The most embarrassing one for us is Naked Attraction. Sat there looking at willies, it’s not my favourite thing,” he said.
Ellie Simmonds and Richie Anderson
Former Strictly Come Dancing stars Ellie Simmonds and Richie Anderson returned to the sofa in June 2025, after joining the show in 2023.
Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aléshé

For the Stand Up To Cancer special, which aired on Friday 12th December, David Tennant and Georgia Tennant joined the line-up, along with Kieran Culkin and his wife Jazz Charton, Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton, and Nick Mohammed and Joe Marler.
David Tennant and Georgia Tennant
Actor David Tennant and his wife Georgia Tennant have joined the Celebrity Gogglebox charity special.

He went on to appear in films such as Father of the Bride, playing Steve Martin’s young son, but he’s best known today for his sharp-tongued, scene-stealing role as Roman Roy in HBO’s Succession.
Kieran met British advertising professional Jazz Charton in 2012, and the pair eloped the following year during a cross-country road trip through Iowa. They now share three children, and Kieran’s Succession co-star Sarah Snook is godmother to their son.
Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton
Pearl Harbour star Josh Hartnett and his wife, actress Tamsin Egerton (known for the St. Trinian’s films), are swapping the big screen for some good old-fashioned armchair critiquing.
“We first started watching Gogglebox during lockdown in 2020 – I found it so comforting seeing other families around the country watching TV ‘with’ us,” Tamsin said.
“It’s such a great cross-section of the UK, and ever since then Josh and I have tried to watch it together whenever we can.
“I can’t wait to snuggle up on the sofa with him for such an important cause as Stand Up To Cancer.”
Nick Mohammed and Joe Marler
Celebrity Traitors finalists Nick Mohammed and Joe Marler have teamed up once again – only this time, there shouldn’t be any last-minute betrayals (looking at you, Nick).
Channel 4 shared the news on Instagram, and fans are already pitching ideas for what the pair should watch. One viewer even suggested the Waitrose advert featuring Joe Wilkinson – a fun nod to Joe Marler’s enthusiasm for him during Traitors.
Joe Marler is a former rugby union player, while Nick Mohammed is an actor best known for Ted Lasso and Slow Horses.
Celebrity Gogglebox airs on Channel 4 on Fridays at 9pm.
