EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Soccer fans across the Borderland will have a new destination to celebrate the sport this summer as Fútbol Fiesta transforms the El Paso County Coliseum into a hub for World Cup excitement, entertainment and community festivities.
Scheduled for July 14, July 15 and July 19, the event promises more than just match viewing, offering an immersive festival experience designed to bring together fans of all ages.
Organizers say attendees can watch World Cup matches on a giant screen while enjoying a variety of activities, including EA SPORTS FC 26 video game tournaments, live music performances, food and beverage vendors, interactive games and activations, and what is being billed as the region’s largest sticker trading experience.
Live entertainment will feature performances from Mazovibe and other guest artists, helping create a festival atmosphere centered around soccer culture and community celebration.
The event aims to capture the passion and energy that surround the world’s most popular sport while highlighting the unique spirit of the El Paso-Juárez border region. Fans are encouraged to attend wearing their favorite team jerseys, carrying flags and celebrating alongside family and friends.
“This is more than just coming to watch the match,” organizers said in promotional materials. “It’s a festival atmosphere filled with fútbol, passion and pure energy.”
Fútbol Fiesta is expected to bring together supporters from across the Borderland, creating a shared space where fans can celebrate the game and experience World Cup excitement in a community setting.
Additional announcements and event updates will be shared through the official Fútbol Fiesta social media channels.
