2025 has turned out to be the year of Harshvardhan Rane. It started with the box office success of his first movieSanam Teri Kasam which became the biggest re-release grosser of Indian cinema (inflation unadjusted) and now his follow-up release Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has become the biggest grosser of his career in just six days.
The intense romantic musical has made close to Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office in its 6-day extended opening weekend.

Harshvardhan Rane Gets Brutally Trolled For Playing The Outsider Card Again & Again
Amid the big success of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, a clip has gone viral on social media where Harshvardhan is seen surprising the audiences in a theatre and telling them that they killed the nepotism in the film industry by making his film as well as the fellow release Thamma box office successes considering both star outsiders as the main leads.
He says in the clip, “Aapne is Diwali do outsiders ki filmon ki support kiya. Ayushmann Khurrana ki bhi film aayi hai, meri bhi aayi hai. Dono filmein dekhiye please, dono ko enjoy kariya kyunki bahut achcha message bahar jaata hai ki aap logon ne akele poora ka poora Bollywood se nepotism hi khatam kar diya.

Harshvardhan Rane Upcoming Movies
Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is now heading towards Rs 80 crore lifetime at the domestic box office. After that, his next release will be Omung Kumar’s Silaa co-starring Sadia Khateeb and Karan Veer Mehra.
He will then star in Sanam Teri Kasam 2 and there are also reports of him playing a gangster in Ekta Kapoor’s next production which could either be Shootout 3, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 3 or any other movie.
