“I plan to eat, relax and just do nothing, which is so exciting because that really doesn’t happen often! On Thanksgiving, I’ll cook an entire feast, a 12-course meal; it’s hard to pick a favourite, but my sweet potato casserole is pretty good,” Blake Lively once told US Weekly.
Last year, Blake offered fans a peek at her Thanksgiving dessert spread through her Instagram Story, showcasing three elaborate pies. The initial creation featured a chocolate foundation adorned with leaf and acorn pastry decorations.
Embracing a zesty motif, the second treat was crowned with artfully arranged lime slices, while the third dessert took a square form and was beautified with fresh fruit and nuts. “Yummm,” she captioned the snapshot.
Beyond the delectable sweets, she also displayed her Thanksgiving-themed home decor.

Angelina Jolie
The mother of six reportedly dislikes Thanksgiving due to its controversial origins. During the 1600s, settlers who would become known as the Pilgrims arrived in Plymouth, Massachusetts, to partake in a feast with the native Wampanoag Indians.
In 2016, a source close to Jolie revealed to PopEater that the actress was “grossed out” by the American holiday and had no plans to observe it. “Jolie hates this holiday and wants no part in rewriting history like so many other Americans,” the insider revealed, according to Fox News.
“To celebrate what the white settlers did to the native Indians, the domination of one culture over another, just isn’t her style. She definitely doesn’t want to teach her multi-cultural family how to celebrate a story of murder.”
Emily Blunt
Emily Blunt, a London native, didn’t grow up celebrating Thanksgiving. However, she and her husband, John Krasinski, have incorporated some Thanksgiving dishes into their Christmas celebrations.
“We don’t do Thanksgiving,” she shared with E! News in 2014. “This year, I said to my husband, ‘We’re gonna have two turkeys because we haven’t done a turkey at Christmas for the last couple of Christmases and I want to do it.'”
Katy Perry
In 2016, Katy Perry took to social media to share her thoughts on Thanksgiving and its origins. She began: “On #Thanksgiving, a day with complex origins, I want to speak up in support of the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation and their protest of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
“Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with what is going on in North Dakota. While it may not be on your front pages, this is not a frightening series of events for “them”, it is a frightening series of events for all of us.”
She concluded: “During this holiday and beyond, let us stand in solidarity with all those who are trying to protect it. I made a donation and I hope you can too today.”
