Megyn Kelly has revealed a beloved celebrity is the “meanest” she has ever met.
Hollywood legend Jane Fonda was the first A-lister to “come to mind” when the 55-year-old journalist reflected on her least favorite celebrities during an interview with Daily Mail on December 31.
The 88-year-old actress and activist was described as the “meanest” and most “unpleasant” celebrity Kelly’s encountered in her long career. The media personality went on to recall Fonda being “offended” by questions about plastic surgery during a 2017 interview.
The Megyn Kelly Show host claimed she only mentioned plastic surgery procedures because she’d been told to “steer” Fonda away from sex scene talk since it made her Our Souls at Night co-star Robert Redford, who died in September at the age of 89, “uncomfortable.”
Kelly also slammed Bruce Willis, but “hate[d] to say” so since the 70-year-old is “struggling” with frontotemporal dementia.
Still, Kelly called Willis “so ungiving” and “so ungenerous” during their 2006 Fox News conversation.
“He … was just clearly so unhappy to be there,” Kelly recalled. “I mean, that’s fine, he has his politics, but why agree to come on?”
However, when Kelly name-dropped the Today Show’s Al Roker, she kept her reasoning for disliking him to herself.
She told the outlet, “Let’s just say, if my mother ran into Al Roker, she would turn into Larry David bumping into Alan Dershowitz at Martha’s Vineyard very quickly.”
Kelly also slammed Ellen DeGeneres due to the negative experience of a “close family member,” who worked as a producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The former attorney claimed, “They were all told, if you come across her in the hallway, even if you’re already looking in that general direction, to look down at the floor. You would look down like a serf. You’d actually have to avert your eyes.

“I’ve never heard anything like that before with any of these big personalities,” she continued. “And I knew that before the bullying scandal broke [in 2020], so when it did, I was not surprised at all. She is a bad person.”
Meanwhile, Kelly did have some kind words for a few stars. She called Russell Brand “warm” and Kathie Lee Gifford “nice.”
The talk show host also admitted she’s “a fan” of Jada Pinkett Smith, whom she believes to be “so sweet, so sincere [and] so genuine.”
The conservative podcaster’s Hollywood name-dropping comes as she is facing a fresh wave of backlash after seemingly excusing President Donald Trump for being “handsy” in the past as she praised his policies against the transgender community.
“My own personal opinion, most of the allegations against him are much more complicated than the mainstream media would have you believe, and I don’t think Donald Trump is a rapist or a sexual assaulter,” she said.
Kelly added, “I do think he’s taken inappropriate liberties with women and gotten handsy with them in a way he’s owned himself.”
She then added that she is unconcerned with allegations against him in general because she is focused on other priorities.
“I don’t give a s–t about Trump getting handsy with somebody 20 years ago, I want someone who will close the border, which he has,” she said. “I want someone who will keep boys out of my daughter’s sports, which he has.”
