It’s hard to believe the great Sansa Stark is all grown up now, with actress Sophie Turner recently celebrating her 30th birthday. Time flies!
And now, the Game of Thrones alum just shared some pics on social media from her extravagant party honoring the milestone, offering fans and followers a glimpse into her dazzling event.
In the carousel of playful photos, Turner — who turned 30 on Feb. 21 — can be seen wearing a translucent mini dress adorned with sparkly chains. One highlight is the third image, where the future Tomb Raider star is being lifted into the air by the pals around her.
“So this is 30….. I think I like it so far,” Turner wrote in the caption of her Instagram post on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Check it out below.
Fans have already flooded the comments section of the English actress’ post to wish her well and show their support. “Happy birthday to a stunning beauty and an excellent actress. Everything is easier past 30. Love the purple ambience. Have fun!” wrote one Instagram user, while another person commented, “Happy birthday, The Queen in the North @sophiet 🥳🐺🖤.”
Designed by U.K.-based events-planning company Olive Sky Weddings & Events, the lavish affair was decorated with disco balls and giant floral displays from Artistically Twisted, E! News reports.
Last month, Prime Video released a first-look image of Turner dressed as Lara Croft for the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot series — whose source material dates back to the classic 1990s video game, of course.
“Get your artifacts out. Lara’s on her way… #TombRaider #WardrobeTest,” the Amazon-Prime Video joint Instagram post’s caption read on Jan. 15. See the image below.
Fans had taken to the post’s comments section to voice support for Turner’s getup in the upcoming show. “OH MY GOD! SHE LOOKS PERFECT! I didn’t expected they would go with a look so classic!” wrote one Instagram user, while another person commented, “Not gonna lie she looks perfect.”
