Taylor Swift’s latest project, The Life of a Showgirl, is officially out!
Swift posted a late-night message Thursday that read more like verse.
“Tonight all these lives converge here / The mosaics of laughter and cocktails of tears / Where fraternal souls sing identical things / And it’s beautiful / It’s rapturous. / It is frightening,” she wrote.
Calling the album a “self portrait,” Swift thanked producers Max Martin and Shellback for their role in shaping the record.
“I can’t tell you how proud I am to share this with you, an album that just feels so right. A forever thank you goes out to my mentors and friends Max and Shellback for helping me paint this self-portrait.”
Other song titles generating buzz include “Elizabeth Taylor,” “Father Figure,” and the Sabrina Carpenter collaboration on the title track.
Fans lined up at Target stores Thursday night for exclusive vinyl editions, sharing images of ticketed queues on social media.
Special screenings are also planned from October 3-5 in theaters nationwide, where audiences will see the video for “The Fate of Ophelia” and behind-the-scenes footage.
The package will debut on YouTube October 5 at 7 p.m. ET.
